• Data warehouse engineers and administrators
  • Data Storage Network Administrators
  • Backup Administrators
  • Cloud storage administrators and operators
  • Analysts, implementers and systems engineering specialists
  • Analyst in massive data generation (big-data)
  • Pre sales and after sales data storage

The SNIA S10-110 course was developed to provide the student with a global knowledge and technical skills to work as a team member, focused on data storage networking solutions.

A Vendor-neutral training that adds the necessary knowledge to the professionals to understand the configuration of basic networks of data storage (files, database, etc.), backup and restore technologies. In addition, the student will be able to understand the fundamentals of business continuity, application workload, systems integration and storage.

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Describe data storage concepts and technologies such as:

    • Fiber Channel, IP Storage, NAS and SAN
    • Data protection and virtualization

Demonstrate knowledge about:

  • Storage Arrays and their Components
  • Cloud Storage
  • Storage Management – including resource management, monitoring, and reporting
  • Host and subsystem architecture
  • Data Warehousing Techniques
  • Storage protocols
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Basic Troubleshooting Techniques

After the course, the student becomes eligible to take the SNIA Certified Storage Professional (SCSP) certification test.

Obtaining the score equal to or greater than the minimum of the test, the candidate then receives the Storage Networking Certified Professional (SCSP) credential. The credential is valid for 3 years from the date of passing the exam.

There are no prerequisites for this training, but a basic knowledge on IT would help.
